Limelight Media is a full-suite boutique marketing and graphic design agency specialising in strategic brand management. When I joined in 2020, we primarily worked with a mix of local Irish businesses, bloggers, and some larger national companies, focusing on traditional marketing, branding, print materials, and internal communications, with some web and social media services. However, as the marketing industry became increasingly digital and our team expanded rapidly, we began offering more digital marketing and social media management services. Within my first year, I had the opportunity to rebrand our company to align with our evolving target market and vision, modernising our overall look.
Approach
After reviewing our current branding and analysing our competitors, as well as benchmarking ourselves against top agencies in Ireland and the global market, I aimed to create a brand identity that feels modern, dynamic, and digital. Our goal was to develop a sleek and contemporary design that remains adaptable to our growing company and industry. We wanted our logo to continue conveying our core mission of illuminating each client’s strengths but in a more subtle, clean, and contemporary manner. Throughout this process, we ensured that our brand positioned us as high-end, trustworthy, and knowledgeable leaders in our field, capable of fostering growth for any client, whether a small startup, local business, or international industry giant.
In order to create something that would be flexible, quick and easy to work with, something that would be useable for both our marketing team to create quick social media posts but also our design team to craft in-depth presentations and eye-catching adverts. I crafted a suite of asests and a bespoke system that could easily and quickly capture our brand essence, maintain brand consistency and help our marketing team easily follow design rules.
Outcome
The new branding adopts a more contemporary look with vibrant colours, clean geometric elements, and a sleek, more user-friendly design language ensuring a visually engaging experience. Reflecting the latest trends while also resonating with a tech-savvy, younger audience. The refreshed brand identity conveys professionalism and innovation, fostering stronger connections and trust with clients, and positioning Limelight Media as a forward-thinking leader in the digital marketing landscape. In the past four years, our team size has nearly doubled, our client list has continued to grow and the flexibility of the brand identity has allowed us to keep our communications consistent with the changing market. It's helped us build trust in customers both old and new. Our services are now trusted by some of Ireland’s biggest companies.
