When the founder approached us, they were seeking a fresh, modern brand identity that could effectively encapsulate their mission in a way that was both recognisable and abstract. In developing the brand for Scale by Design, I aimed to create an identity that embodied the core concepts of scaling, growth, and personal connection—elements central to a business dedicated to enhancing people and processes. The branding needed to resonate deeply with the Tech and Pharma sectors, so it was essential to align the visual language with the established aesthetics and tone of these industries. This approach ensured that the brand would not only stand out but also foster a sense of trust through its familiarity and recognisability. By blending modern design elements with the professional expectations of their target audience, the brand was crafted to be both innovative and reassuring, reflecting the consultancy's commitment to driving growth and building strong client relationships.
Outcome
Recognising that many Tech and Pharma companies are heavily data-driven, I drew inspiration from a commonly used growth graph to create a motif that visually represents the tangible results Scale by Design delivers. The brand icon's 3D design was intentionally crafted to reflect the consultancy's comprehensive approach to business development, symbolising how they examine multiple facets of an organisation to drive meaningful growth. The use of gradient motifs, dynamic patterns, and modern typography further reinforces the brand's contemporary feel, aligning it with the forward-thinking nature of the industries they serve. This cohesive branding not only underscores Scale by Design's commitment to innovation and progress but also helps establish a strong visual identity that resonates with their target market, enhancing recognition and trust.
